What IS Clean Eating, Anyway?

With so many ideas about "clean eating" floating around, it's hard to know what it really means. When we think of healthy eating, diet comes to mind. But clean eating doesn't revolve around how few calories you eat or how much more protein you eat. Clean eating is more about getting back to basic, real food - food that is unprocessed, or at least minimally process, refined, or handled.
A good way to think of it is, food that is as close to it's original form as possible.
